a diary of sorts...

As you may have already noticed, so far I am not one of many words. In fact I find writing incredibly stressful. I have an easier time emoting feelings through images. So, I feel this blog will turn into a diary of sorts. A diary in photographs.
You have seen my wedding...
...and the honeymoon.
As well as the photograph that started it all. So where do I begin?

How about with a picture. That is where I will always start.
Lately my lens has gravitated towards everything water related. It rains in Seattle. Well it rains a lot. So I have plenty of opportunity. 
We all love beautiful ocean water with a startling sunset...

oh look! Ocean Sunset!

...and water drops with a promise of spring! love those...in fact they are a bit of an obsession. Don't be surprised if you see me darting outside when the rain stops and the wind is still...watch out!

 Ooooo...

Reflections in water are another fascination of mine.

The Wedding

Our wedding was a Do-it-Ourselves wedding, as was our wedding album...take a  gander through our fantastically special day...friends and family brought the food, music, and atmosphere ... we just provided a reason ;-)

Mud and Ice

There is something about the formations water makes when it freezes that fascinates me. Each morning I run outside on my way to work, check the puddles that are ever-present in our pot-hole infested alley to see if they have frozen over.
Maybe I just enjoy playing in mud. But it is beautiful to me.
